Australian Music Festivals

Australian Music festivals attract countless tourists from all over the world, especially during summer. From January to March, these festivals are flocked by numerous tourists coming from different parts of the world.

The Big Day Out

The Big Day Out Festival is celebrated from different parts of Australia and New Zealand. During January 2010 places that hosted this festival includes Auckland, the Golden Coast, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth. The musical talents that took part during this event include Muse, Lily Allen, Kasabian, and Grove Armada.

Byron Bay Bluefest

This festival also takes place in different parts of Australia. In 2010 it took place in Tyagarah, New South Wales which became its permanent site. It features multicultural and indigenous experience to the people with its non-English speaking artist. Jack Johnson, Jools Holland, Crowded House and Jeff Beck were some of its featured musicians during 2010.

Future Music

Future Music took place in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth during the February and Early march of 2010. Franz Ferdinand and Prodigy were some of its featured artist.

Soundwave

This is a rock music festival held in different places in Australia such as Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. Some of its featured artist is Jane’s Addiction, Paramore, and Placebo.
